HKS RS CN9A/CP9A 4G63 - HKS70020-AM101

The HKS Racing Suction Kit (70020-AM101) is a high-performance intake system designed for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV, V, and VI (1996–2001) with the 4G63 turbo engine. It replaces the stock airbox to improve boost response and increase airflow using a specialized aluminum pipe and a 200mm wet-type filter.

• Compatibility: Fits CN9A (Evo IV) and CP9A (Evo V/VI) 4G63 engines.
• Performance: Enhances air intake flow efficiency, resulting in better acceleration and power, particularly in higher RPM ranges.
• Design: Features a 200mm "Super Power Flow" wet 2-layer polyurethane filter (usually red) designed to minimize intake resistance.

Notes:

• ECU Tuning: While designed to work with stock vehicles, installation of this intake might require resetting or adjusting the airflow meter/fuel management (e.g., HKS F-CON) for optimal performance.
• Spark Plugs: It is highly recommended to upgrade to heat-resistant spark plugs to accommodate the higher engine output.
• Maintenance: Regular cleaning or replacement of the Super Power Flow filter element is recommended for consistent performance.
